In uni we had this class where we had to design all sorts of buildings and at the evaluation not only the design itself mattered but also the way we presented it with models and drawings. To me designing the building and having to think about the structures, sizes, functions and rooms was just an excuse to be able to draw the ready thing at the end.

Mug for my Dad’s birthday

This Mug for my Dad’s birthday is the newest personal project I completed.
He works as an electrician and he always comes up with all sorts of electronic solutions and gadgets around the house so electricity isn’t only his profession but also his hobby. It only made sense to create a personalised gift for him with a pattern of a circuit board.
Phone case for my friend

I designed a gift box for a client a few months ago. When I showed the final images to one of my friends, she was super fond of the pattern and said she would love to have a phone case like that.
As Christmas was coming up, I made a mental note and soon after created this pattern for her that was based on that gift box design but with a few modifications.
Nature Photography

I really enjoy taking and looking at photos that capture nature. In my opinion nothing man-made can measure up to beauty so diverse and unpredictable.
I love the honesty and rawness to it.. Everything is what it is and there is no trying to cover up or looking a certain way to impress.
It is the source of unlimited creativity and possibilities that cannot be produced by the limited and conditioned human mind.
In fact, trying to describe it and put labels on it such as ‘spectacular’ or ‘breathtaking’ does nothing but limits the limitless.
Portraits

I cannot say I’ve done many portraits in my life. As I keep doing more and more projects, I get lesser impressed by and interested in the ones that have nothing to say but ‘look at me, I can draw’.
I got criticised by the crosswalk
I still remember that day just like it was yesterday. It started like every other morning, except, I got criticised by the crosswalk…
I woke up early that day and started with my usual beauty-routine: took a shower, brushed my teeth, moisturised my face, did my makeup, did my hair, picked the right outfit. I left the house and started to walk to the bus stop. As I was about to cross the road, I came across this shallow crosswalk that suggested,…- no – GAVE IT IN ORDER that I should look right.
