Shift+delete asked me recently to design a stag wall sticker for them.
Since the company aims to be unique and different from other creative companies, I knew that an average stag won’t do.
When I checked other companies’ stag stickers and went through shift+delete’s previous sticker designs, I drew the conclusions. First, that customers probably do fancy stags a lot, because many places sell their own versions on many different platforms. Second, that I would like to jazz up my stag the same way as shift+delete did its double exposure bear sticker.
Instead of involving a landscape image within the body of the animal, I decided to turn its antlers into cherry blossom branches to create the 2 in 1 effect.
The colours of the stag and blossom don’t have to be black and pink by the way, as the company offers 15+ different colours to choose from.
