Every creative company must have their own version of a branch wall sticker, right? Or is it just me? However, when I designed these photo branches for shift+delete, I wanted to come up with something new and different. These branches do more than just being branches. They function as photo albums that one can exhibit at all times.
Regarding the style, I tried to keep in mind that different people with different taste buds will not like the exact same thing. So I sneaked in a little bit of variety and designed 3 different types of leaves all of which have a different feel to them. Moreover, the colour choice is entirely up to the customer, whether they want something loud and playful or rather subtle and mellow.
When designing the shape of the branch I chose an actual tree to be my model. I photographed it and then edited the image so the branches wouldn’t look too cascading. For the leaves I also used actual leaves, which I transformed and simplified one by one.
