Pamphlet for Toni Silasi Mission Internationale

I was hired to design this Pamphlet for Toni Silasi Mission Internationale, for whom I created a few things before, such as brochures, a book cover and event bracelets.

I’m always happy to be hired by them because we are able to find the common ground fairly easily and they’re always kind enough to give me a lot of creative freedom. Moreover, they’re very thorough when it comes to providing me with the texts and images to use and giving me detailed and very well put together feedbacks that is massively helpful during the designing process.

In the case of this pamphlet I was asked to make it look modern, colourful and inviting. Eye-catching but not too overcrowded. I chose to incorporate some sleek geometric shapes and by that I mean triangles. There is no point in denying the fact that I have a soft spot for them. Every triangle is a love triangle if you love triangles. And I do! They are so simple and still so edgy, they are just the perfect high fashion items in my eye.

As far as colours go, purple was given because it was the backdrop on the photo that I used for the cover. Firstly I gave a purple shade to the other elements too but then I was asked to incorporate some other colour(s) in order to have a more playful effect. So I chose teal to be one of the complimentary colours but then…Something happened and I added orange as well. I never pick orange! It was such an unusual idea coming from my own mind that it made me question who I was. If it wasn’t for my beloved triangles grounding me, I might have gotten lost being so far out of my comfort zone.
