Infographics for Vireo

Dziugas Augustinavicius (owner of Vireo International Ltd.) sent me some beautiful photos he took of his new product and asked me to turn them into Infographics for Vireo.

I was really amazed by these photos. He told me that he is a self-taught photographer that made me admire his work even more. Moreover, I helped him with putting together the packaging design (he already had the elements, I just had to put them into place pretty much) and it was very nice to see something we’ve been working on come to life.

Dziugas knew exactly how many images he wanted and what he wanted them to showcase as far as imagery and information goes. He also showed me the infographics of his previous products (bamboo and glass infuser) and asked me to strive for a more modern look.

I came up with this half-dotted line element for image #3 just because I wanted to create a closer relation between text and image instead of just using arrows. So I used it to frame each object in a way and connect them to the description bubbles. Then sneaked this element back into one way or another in a few other images too to connect those to one another.

For the stock images I used www.pexels.com which I find a very handy site when I need stock images for absolutely free. Their library is, of course, smaller than the libraries of conventional ‘you-have-to-pay-for-all-images-and-even-then-you’re-not-allowed-to-use-them-as-freely-as-you-want‘ types of stock image sites but I still managed to find these cool summer and winter photos.
