I designed this Logo And Packaging for Tre Gem Art recently. Tre Gem Art was created by a British family run company who wanted to put a product on the market that encourages people to spend their free time doing something creative and constructive either for their own amusement or as a way to spend quality time with their loves ones.
Initially I planned on designing the logo first in order to be able to lay down the style of the brand and then reflect on it/complement it with the packaging. However, I caught myself opening the packaging template and starting to work on it as a complex task where I simultaniously design the logo and the packaging in consideration of the dimensions of the box and, of course, the requirements of my clients.
First I showed them 7 ideas that featured different logos, font combinations, colours, textures and layouts (concepts in one word) from minimalistic to quite detailed. After a bit of back-and-forth we ended up with this design that combines different features of my initial concepts, and merges them into one, simple, eye-catthing artwork.
