The idea of the Boyfriend/Girlfriend Material t-shirts came to me when I came across a very well constructed washing label. The layout and the fonts were so perfectly put together that I saw artistic value in it.
However, I wasn’t sure if the idea is original enough though because it just seemed too obvious. I did a bit of research on the internet, looking for other companies’ versions of boyfriend/girlfriend material tees and I didn’t find any that was detailed enough and perfectly tailored for the owner.
Then I decided to make it possible for customers to choose 4 features that describe the specimen best (who they buy the t-shirt for), moreover, they can even put a name or birth date on it or a ‘may contain’ ingredient. First I wanted to offer around 30 features to choose from but since I really wanted to cover every area possible, I ended up creating 72 (!), all of which have their own emblems.
