Last time when I visited my parents, I found my beloved bead loom and decided to take it home with me and create some amazing stuff again. I had this idea to make a cool, tribal-looking bracelet first so I started to look up patterns on the internet and found this one that was exactly the type of pattern I had in mind. I went to a few different diy stores to pick up the items I needed: loads of different beads, threads, bead needles, some wide textile bands to cover the backside at the end and some snap fasteners.

Cards for everyone

My Mum’s nameday was coming up and I wanted to make her a card with her monogram on it instead of just giving her a store bought card. I know, this is pretty much what I have to say in every blog post/personal project description but what can I say? I like this kind of sentimental stuff.

Jewellery Tree

I used to store my jewellery in a box which wasn’t the most practical place for them. They would easily get tangled and it was hard to fish out the particular piece I needed without having to pour all of them out.
One day I came across a picture of a branch that was hung up on the wall and bracelets and necklaces were put on it. The whole composition was silver and still, it didn’t come across tacky at all. For a magpie like myself the thought of being able to stare at my whole jewellery collection any time was very inviting.
