ART FROM SCRATCH, aka. how I found a new name for my site that’s catchy and NOT TAKEN YET.
IDEAS BUILT AROUND THE WORD ‘DESIGN’: baseline design, define design, divine design, fine design, goldmine design, redefine design, refine design, skyline design (Could be good for architects who plan skyscrapers. You are welcome!), streamline design, design intervention.
SKETCH: sketch mark, from sketch, sketch from scratch, sketchflies, sketch is more, sketch me if you can (I really liked this but it wasn’t accurate enough, I felt. If I was drawing portraits, then maybe. AND it was taken which made it easier to give up on it.)
DRAW: here today draw tomorrow, hear today draw tomorrow (These two were the results of pure desperation.), ready- set-draw, scissors-paper-draw (It was a dark time for me.)
MARRYING ‘ART’ AND ‘HEART’: art from heart, art from the heart, my heart is full of art, my art is full of heart, artbeat, art skips a beat (If I only had a band! :-D), young at art, I follow my art, have a light art, art out, art to art, open art, with all my art, art in the right place, home is where the art is, i am a heartist, heartistic, artbreak, art-shaped box, heart meets art, art beats heart, heart filled with art, heart packed art (Try to repeat it 10 times really fast.), heartful art, the heartful art, art by heart (Why taken?Whyyyy?), heart by art, the art by heart, heart in art, art in heart, art at heart, heart at art, heart on art, art on heart, heart draws art, heart fills art, the art wants what it wants (Selena, it’s time for you to get out of my head.)…
THE ODD ONES OUT: bright black and white, light black lines, generic is so yesterday, maximalist minimalism, originality is not a crime, the original unicorn, the original criminal, handmade art is not a crime, back to cool, every day is art day, art-arter-the artest, my art has a mind of its own, i for original, i for art, b for art, artling, artquake, planet art (instead of Earth…Takeen!), parartnormal activity. (Too bad that ‘par’ doesn’t make sense.)
START/RESTART: restart, i restart, restartart (I said art and not tart. Don’t be so sensitive for god’s sake.), bold restart, from the start, artrestart (That was another favourite that belonged to someone else unfortunately.), the artup company, and finally art from scratch.
This came to me with that shivery sensation that goes hand in hand with great inspiration and the overwhelming stream of thoughts stopped and I felt pins and needles on my brain. It was so perfect that I even let the fact go that the ‘.com’ version was taken. ‘.co.uk’ should be just fine. I became native English anyway when I started drinking Earl Grey with milk.
